When there is laughter in the heart, what joys can remain stifled?
Few words can describe my Grandmother, Marion, as well as this photograph can. She's the life of the party, the bubbles in champagne, the mischievous twinkle in an eye. She loves penguins, Irish Cream, and peanut butter and sweet onion sandwiches. She putters around the kitchen, humming like a trumpet out of the corner of her mouth (Yes! We have no bananas!). She loves all things QVC. She has eleven grandchildren, ages 2 to 29. Christmas is still magical at her house. She sews, knits, quilts, bakes, and stays up all night reading just one more chapter. She has a million house coats! She cries when she laughs (so does my Mom), pushing her glasses up onto her forehead so she can wipe her eyes.
She defines the word whippersnapper. She's one of a kind!
What more can I say? This picture says it all!
Remember today who you love the most, and take them not for granted.

You just have to smile when you see that photo! One can only hope to have that much joy and enthusiasm for life when we reach that age. Grandma Marion is an inspiration to us all!

My grandmother like to sit in your lap and bug the hell out of you while we gather at family functions. Don't get me wrong, it's a good cute little kind of bugging complete with leg pinches, knee slaps, random inappropriate comments that I laugh at as my mother rolls her eyes... and let's not forget her favorite statement that sums it up so well "Ahhh, memories, memories"

god bless Grandma, always willing to joke around. She puts up with my crap and jokes everyday lol. Im still thinking of ways to trick her since she seems to trick me quite often. I can truly say Im honored to be 1 of her grandchildren.
of course im the coolest grandchild so ya know ;)
